Ant is a North Wales/Shropshire based Composer and Sound Designer. He has a background in classical music yet also has a passion for contemporary electronic music. He possesses the ability to write in a range of styles however he specialises in experimental score often focusing on specific sound sources or concepts.
Alongside composing and recording music from his studio, Ant also lectures in Music and Music Technology in Wrexham North Wales.
Ant collaborated with artist Jessica Lloyd-Jones on a large scale digital art projects exhibited as part of Blinc Digital Arts Festival 2011 and 2012 in Conwy. He has completed commisions for Cadw, Kew Palace and Cadwyn Clwyd and is currently working on sound design for a number of permanent multimedia instalations in Wales and England.
Since May 2012 he has also been collaborating with photographer and film maker Andrew Gale on a number of piano based compositions/films. These pieces are due for completion summer 2013 alongside an album of related compositions.
